Specialized Crossroads Tire (700c)

Versatility is the strong suit of Specialized's Crossroads Tire. Its continuous center tread rolls quick on the road, while the side knobs grip great in the dirt, making it the ideal tire for bike paths, pavement and dirt roads.

    Excellent Tire

    Comments:

Love this tire. Put a set of 700x38c on my Norco Hybrid and I'm thoroughly impressed. I like a hard tire and these take a nice high inflation pressure.

      Comments:

This tire has a directional tread pattern that is often not installed correctly on the front wheel. The "V" pattern works best in one direction. The rear wheel tire is usually installed with the "V" pointing forward. The front tire acts only to brake travel speed. It must be installed correctly or it can contribute to dangerous consequences because of very poor braking effectiveness in loose surface road braking.
